BS Wooden Fire Doors

Zhongwo wooden fire rated doors are widely used in many residential and commercial buildings such as apartments, hotel, shopping mall, hospitals because of its good quality in fire resistance, beautiful appearance and are also more harmony with surroundings.

Zowor wooden fire doors comply to BS standards BS476:part 22, Standard British Fire Door Tests.

Fire Ratings of Zowor wooden fire doors are 30mins, 60mins and 90mins. 120mins fire rated wooden doors will be under fire test soon.

Zowor fire doors manufactures wooden fire doors normally with artificial veneer or natural wood veneer finish and PU painting. Most popular wood veneers by us are mahogany, oak, black walnut, teak, beach and cherry. Meanwhile high pressure laminate or HPL is also commonly used to press on both sides of door leaf. Colors and texture on surfaces of finishes can be chosen as your request.

Specifications of Zowor Wooden Fire Doors:

Door Leaf Thickness: 1 3/4” (45mm) for 30mins, 2 1/20’’(52mm) for 60mins; 2 1/6’’ (55mm) for 90mins.

Door Leaf Max Size: 4’0” x 8’0” for single door; 8’0’’ x 8’0’’ for double door.

Fire Door Core: fireproof perlite board, particle board.

Stile and Rail: Solid wood strips with fireproof board and hardwood liping.

Outlay: 1/8” (3mm) MDF or plywood on both sides.

Cut ready: by default for hinges and lock set, others can be finished as request of customers.

Frames & Architraves

We get two kinds of frames to match our wooden fire rated doors.

• Wooden Frames

Standard Size: 38mm thick by 94mm wide or customization

Structure: 80mm thick Solid Wood + 4mm Fireproof Board+3mm MDF

Type: Single Rabbet or Double Rabbet

Finish: HPL, Painting with Wood Veneer

• Metal Frames

Material: 1.2 mm thick Gal. Steel

Frame Depth: 94mm, 112mm, 120mm, 150mm, 200mm

Finish: Powder Coated; Stainless Steel or Wood Grain

Type: Single or Double Rabbet
As far as architrave is concerned, popular width are 50mm, 60mm,70mm and 80mm, popular thickness are 12mm and 15mm.Finish of architrave can also be polished, painted or with HPL and melamine laminated.

Besides, door covers are usually made of solid wood, plywood or LVL with HPL, melamine or veneer finish. Thickness is 25mm. Width can be different according to wall thickness.

Attention: In circumstances where fire doors with fire rating longer than 2 hours, we do not suggest doors with glass inserts.
